This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Lead the development and implementation of a customer-focused district strategy and cohesive business plan.
• Supervise Sales Specialists directly, encompassing hiring, onboarding, performance management, and execution of compensation.
• Deliver field-based and virtual coaching to enhance selling effectiveness, clinical execution, and territory planning.
• Oversee demand generation and care transition initiatives in relevant local community hospitals.
• Maintain an expert understanding of approved clinical information and pertinent Neuroscience guidelines.
• Evaluate district performance, market dynamics, and execution inputs to pinpoint gaps and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to ensure coordinated execution and elevate customer experience.
• Establish performance and behavioral expectations, address deficiencies, and promote accountability, inclusion, and team effectiveness.
• Exemplify healthcare compliance and reinforce accountability for compliance within the team.
• Utilize approved AI-enabled tools to enhance planning, opportunity identification, and performance insights while safeguarding privacy and data integrity.
• Recruit and develop the team, formulate local strategic plans, and manage customer interactions, budgets, and expenses.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• A valid driver’s license issued in one of the fifty United States.
• At least six years of relevant professional experience in sales and/or cross-functional commercial roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare sectors.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight and weekend travel.
• Must reside in the geography or be open to relocating to it.
• Proven experience in driving cross-functional alignment, eliminating barriers, and mobilizing resources.
• Demonstrated ability to lead others through guided leadership, clear expectations, change management, accountability, and empathy.
• Experience in conducting structured coaching with development goals, timely feedback, and follow-up.
• Ability to provide continuous feedback and create learning and development opportunities.
• Experience in translating business objectives and data into actionable district plans.
• Proficient in utilizing performance data and insights to identify gaps, make informed decisions, and coach effective execution.
• Capability to use approved AI-enabled tools while ensuring privacy, data integrity, and adherence to policies.
• Preferred: MS/MBA/PhD.
• Preferred: Experience in Neuroscience, large account management, access and reimbursement dynamics, and direct people management.
• Preferred: Commitment to learning emerging technologies and fostering responsible AI literacy.
• Commission-based sales position.
