• Overseeing effective HR reviews, succession planning, and the development of the leadership pipeline within the district
• Ensuring consistent standards in the selection, assimilation, and training of salaried managers across the district
• Offering coaching and consulting on development plans for district and store leaders
• Enhancing workforce diversity
• Organizing hourly job fairs, facilitating RMA forums, and nurturing local hiring partnerships
• Collaborating with store managers on the selection and continuous training of ASDSs
• Assessing the effectiveness of planning and executing salaried and hourly training programs
• Facilitating, monitoring, and supporting the performance management process in a timely and effective manner, including code calibration
• Providing partnership and guidance on all terminations and demotions
• Working alongside store leadership to engage and coach associates on the floor to promote a customer service culture
• Ensuring effective utilization of Company recognition and communication processes
• Conducting HR Town Hall meetings in stores and following up to ensure effective resolution of issues
• Assisting leaders in the administration of the Employer of Choice survey, feedback, and action planning
• Collaborating with the HR Service Center on staffing, associate relations, and other transactional processes
• Taking a leadership role in implementing organizational change initiatives that affect the district or stores
• Acting as a first responder for labor, workplace violence, and similar incidents, collaborating with the Regional Associate Relations team to determine next steps and ensure resolution
• Partnering with district leaders on strategic plans to enhance business results, customer service, and alignment with Company Values
• Supporting all HR functions during new store openings, closures, or relocations
• Actively engaging in store walks, district staff meetings, and other operational activities with the DM
• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
• Analytical, with knowledge and experience in operations, sales, and management.
