This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Directs and oversees sales initiatives for various communities and products within the district, major markets, networks, and independent communities.
• Holds responsibility for achieving and surpassing occupancy and revenue targets.
• Aids in the professional growth of community sales associates, providing guidance on selling techniques, pipeline management, and sales execution.
• Cultivates a robust sales performance culture throughout the district.
• Effectively manages sales outcomes within the designated district.
• Observes occupancy trends and ensures that team members execute sales activities effectively.
• Guides district strategies concerning competitive positioning and marketing initiatives.
• Reaches and exceeds all occupancy and revenue objectives for the assigned district.
• Leads and develops a team of community sales associates and business development professionals in the district.
• Supervises the formulation of district business development and lead generation strategies.
• Assists in the recruitment and hiring process for all sales personnel in their community portfolio.
• Collaborates closely with Training and Development, Human Resources, and Operations in recruitment and onboarding efforts.
• Ensures a smooth onboarding process for new sales hires.
• Manages the completion of the marketing plan and budget for the district.
• Works alongside the marketing team to create community marketing plans and budgets.
• Evaluates local markets and competitive positioning within the assigned district.
• Monitors sales performance standards and identifies any gaps.
• Reviews and analyzes sales reports and dashboards on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Proven experience in the sales process, promoting/selling related products, and developing referrals.
• Familiarity with sales coaching and managing sales team performance.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of successful sales experience, ideally in the senior housing industry, medical, or pharmaceutical sales sectors.
• Capability to efficiently manage time and tasks within a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent travel by car necessitates the incumbent to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
• Understanding of sales and marketing principles and methods for demonstrating, promoting, and selling products or services.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations, including relevant processes for the product line(s) being sold.
• Awareness of state regulations that affect or guide the delivery of services.
• Proficient in operating smartphones, personal computers, and related software.
• Strong listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
