• Demonstrated ability to engage and foster positive relationships with designated North American and International Distributors.
• Efficiently manage phone calls, emails, web, and fax communications to guarantee customer and consumer satisfaction while supporting Allegion’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Serve as a connection between sales teams, distributors, and service personnel to meet and surpass customer expectations.
• Continuously enhance and oversee customer communication regarding promotions and product details.
• Update, maintain, and evaluate customer account profiles.
• Actively participate as a business partner.
• Take responsibility while exercising sound judgment and a willingness to implement change.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all company products, services, and promotions.
• Follow Allegion protocols when addressing issues.
• Attend meetings as necessary to represent both the department and the company.
• Manage multiple tasks concurrently, including but not limited to detailed order entry for custom door and service parts, responding to incoming calls and email inquiries, resolving complaints, researching and placing quality replacement orders, and ensuring Allegion’s competitive advantage through meticulous attention to detail and customer needs.
• Associate’s Degree or 3-5 years of experience in account or customer management.
• Familiarity with order management systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Must be dependable and maintain a positive demeanor.
• Exhibit initiative and a readiness to tackle challenges.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to collaborate effectively in a team environment or independently as necessary.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a high call volume atmosphere while ensuring professional and courteous customer interactions.
• Aptitude to recognize and adapt to changes.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Experience with SAP order management systems is preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills are preferred.
• Knowledge of Export/Import Compliance is preferred.
• High enthusiasm and commitment to excellence are preferred.
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills are preferred.
• Ability to work across various organizational boundaries and levels is preferred.
