Distribution Sourcing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.

📋 Description

• Oversee procurement operations for intricate programs and manage designated commodities

• Assist distribution partners in converting technical specifications and work statements into purchase orders

• Manage the complete procurement lifecycle, encompassing proposal development and review, criteria for evaluation, supplier selection, and administration of awards

• Evaluate projected spending, demand patterns, and market fluctuations to formulate sourcing strategies

• Negotiate modifications, additions, and deletions to purchase orders

• Address complex invoicing challenges

• Ensure transactions comply with corporate and regulatory requirements

• Act as a subject matter expert for Procurement Compliance and Cost/Price Analysis

• Promote supplier engagement and production ramp-ups

• Enhance supplier quality, performance, and the adoption of industry best practices

• Support the supply chain for BAE Systems’ defense, aerospace, and security initiatives

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of work experience or equivalent experience

• Proven capability to address contractual and performance challenges with suppliers or equivalent experience

• Experience in Project/Supplier Management or relevant experience in a similar context

• Financial understanding in quoting, P&L, and operating margin

• Familiar with the Oracle purchasing system

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook)

• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams

• Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations and the nature of flow-down requirements

• Understanding of ITAR and EAR regulations

• Awareness of CPSR audits and requirements

• In-depth understanding of subcontractor solicitations and bid analysis/process

• Over 2 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or procurement

• Knowledge of the defense aerospace sector and its regulations

• Working knowledge of complex electronics design and manufacturing environments or equivalent experience

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team setting

• Moderate technical skills, including the capacity to interpret drawing requirements
