This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Drive sales growth and enhance Canadian Solar's distribution business across Central America and the Caribbean.
• Identify, recruit, and onboard new distribution partners in the region.
• Increase Canadian Solar's market presence and share within existing distribution accounts.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with distributor owners, purchasing teams, sales leadership, and key decision-makers.
• Generate pull-through demand by engaging EPCs, installers, developers, and other channel influencers.
• Develop territory plans aimed at acquiring new business and fostering long-term channel growth.
• Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
• Maintain precise sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, and territory planning.
• Monitor competitive activity and supply market intelligence to inform business strategy.
• Represent Canadian Solar at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings throughout the region.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the solar industry.
• At least 3 years of B2B sales experience with a proven ability to develop new business.
• Strong existing relationships within the solar distribution ecosystem in Central America and/or the Caribbean.
• Experience collaborating with solar distributors and channel partners.
• Proven success in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities.
• Professional fluency in both English and Spanish is essential.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of distribution sales models, territory development, and channel growth strategies.
• Willingness and capacity to travel approximately 60% throughout the region.
