This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +3 more states.
β’ Collaborate closely with the project director or operations director to create project charters.
β’ Oversee elements of project design and implementation strategies.
β’ Administer and report on project budgets and schedules.
β’ Assist in the development of supplier specifications and contract negotiations.
β’ Supervise the execution of contract plans.
β’ Coordinate engagement with external consultants and outsourced resources for material handling equipment, warehouse and business systems, building modifications, and other services.
β’ Facilitate activities with project and operations directors as well as internal project teams.
β’ Aid in the preparation of capital expenditure requests.
β’ Oversee project completion, including construction/installation, inspection, testing, training, and start-up.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
β’ Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, accountancy, sales, marketing, logistics, computer sciences, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
β’ At least five years of directly related and progressively responsible experience.
β’ Knowledge and experience in leading projects associated with warehouse operations, design, business systems, process improvement and standardization, engineered labor standards, and transportation.
β’ Strong oral and written communication skills.
β’ Ability to collaborate with individuals from diverse technical and business backgrounds.
β’ Capacity to lead and motivate work teams.
β’ Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Excellent interpersonal skills.
β’ Capability to convey difficult or sensitive information tactfully.
β’ Proficient presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
β’ Ability to effectively and efficiently resolve issues.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Access databases, Word, and AutoCAD.
β’ Previous experience in consulting, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen is advantageous.
