Disability Benefit Calculation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Compute and categorize offsets along with adjusted Short Term Disability (STD) and Long Term Disability (LTD) benefits within Navigator.

• Notify plan participants about overpayment amounts, providing clear verbal and written clarifications.

• Follow up with plan participants on the reimbursement of overpayments.

• Negotiate viable repayment plans when required.

• Execute claim recoveries through Navigator.

• Contribute to a small, agile National Life, Disability & Wellness Team.

• Provide valuable and customer-centric disability benefit services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in disability benefit calculations.

• Strong numerical proficiency.

• Skilled in MS Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

• Ability to read and interpret group insurance contracts and apply their terms effectively.

• Outstanding oral and written communication capabilities.

• Strong focus on customer service with an ability to deliver challenging messages with empathy.

• Bilingualism in English and French is a plus; required in Québec to assist clients from various provinces outside Québec.

• Familiarity with Navigator is advantageous.

• Willingness to learn from both successes and setbacks.
