• This role is available for remote work from anywhere in the U.S. (subject to certain legal entity restrictions).
• It is primarily a field-based, customer-facing role that requires approximately 50% travel to meet performance and business goals.
• The Director, Value Evidence Lead (VEL) serves as a strategic leader who converts clinical and economic evidence into impactful engagement across launch brands and new indications in Oncology, Cardiovascular, Renal, Immunology, and Neuroscience, with a comprehensive understanding of U.S. managed market dynamics.
• This position focuses on priority accounts and acts as the Medical Lead to proactively engage Population Health Decision Makers (PHDMs).
• Engage in diverse discussions with key stakeholders covering clinical data, Health Care Economic Information (HCEI), Real-World Evidence (RWE), disease state information, education on adverse event management, and information exchange regarding preapproval and pipeline.
• Meet established team and personal objectives related to launch/prelaunch products, activities, and other VEL-related goals.
• A graduate degree in science or healthcare is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Managed Care/PHDM-focused Medical Liaison is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. healthcare, particularly managed care and patient access, including payers, pathways, SOCs/IDNs, health economics, outcomes research, and emerging trends in patient access, value-based care, quality measures, and pay-for-performance, as well as familiarity with FDA, OIG, HIPAA, PhRMA Code, and other regulations and ethical guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry is essential.
• A proven track record of making organizational or enterprise impact through strategic thinking, collaboration within a matrix organization, and leadership within Field Medical-based teams is required.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are necessary.
• A strategic mindset with the capability to navigate a complex healthcare landscape, identifying, networking, and partnering with medical experts, including PHDMs, thought leaders, large group practices, medical directors, and pharmacy directors is required.
• The ability to create a strategic vision by integrating various perspectives, scientific considerations, and market knowledge to achieve top-tier results is crucial.
• Demonstrated innovation and effectiveness in addressing strategic challenges is expected.
• A creative thinker who can swiftly adapt to changing market conditions, business needs, and an evolving product portfolio is essential.
