This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate the strategic vision for scientific strategy and medical education initiatives supporting AMTAGVI, the FDA-approved T Cell Therapy for metastatic melanoma.
• Assist the Advanced Melanoma market and additional indications as pipeline programs develop.
• Oversee the success of a comprehensive peer-to-peer education and promotion platform, which includes speaker programs, clinical experience roundtables, advisory boards, and other related activities.
• Create educational content that aligns with the overall brand strategy.
• Direct national and regional peer-to-peer programming and execution, including the preparation of speaker program materials and coordination with sales leaders.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs on publications, scientific communications, and the generation of real-world evidence/HEOR data.
• Ensure that marketing initiatives adhere to regulatory and legal standards.
• Uphold Iovance Biotherapeutics’ core values, policies, procedures, and business ethics.
• Report directly to the Head of Marketing.
• Travel requirement: 30%.
• Carry out various other duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 12 years of relevant marketing or healthcare-related experience is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is mandatory.
• Familiarity with oncology drug development and a thorough understanding of melanoma disease.
• Proven capability to own and implement commercially-facing scientific marketing strategies in a resource-constrained, fast-paced biotech environment.
• Awareness of competitive dynamics, emerging scientific advancements, and trends in melanoma and immuno-oncology.
• Practical experience in biotech or pharmaceutical commercial roles, ideally within small to mid-sized organizations.
• Hands-on experience in developing scientific marketing strategies that align with brand goals.
• Ability to operate effectively with limited infrastructure, take initiative, and drive workstreams independently while collaborating across functions.
• Strong strategic thinking capabilities.
• Excellent prioritization and execution skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to evolving data, timelines, and business demands.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills across cross-functional commercial teams.
• High level of judgment and integrity.
• Must be capable of remaining in a stationary position, either standing or sitting, for extended periods.
• Must be able to navigate within an office environment and exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, or a negligible amount of force frequently or continuously to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Must possess visual acuity for tasks such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer screen, and extensive reading.
• This role requires repetitive motions and substantial movements of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with others to relay information.
