• Create and implement comprehensive market research strategies to support pre-commercialization efforts, readiness for launch, go-to-market planning, and brand development.
• Take the lead in the annual insights generation strategy that aligns with brand plan goals, key strategic decisions, and critical success factors (CSFs).
• Act as a senior strategic partner to the Commercial team by framing and addressing impactful business questions related to brand strategy, execution, and investment decisions.
• Design both qualitative and quantitative primary market research involving healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients, caregivers, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment of insights across analytic functions, particularly as they inform forecasting, providing senior leadership with a consistent and clear understanding of market opportunities.
• Oversee external research agencies, manage budget allocations, and appropriately scale market research efforts to inform business decisions.
• Act as a trusted advisor regarding the impartial voice of the customer.
• Create and present actionable insight summaries to senior leadership to shape critical decisions, utilizing storytelling skills to convert complex and technical findings into straightforward, actionable recommendations.
• Initiate and lead projects aimed at leveraging AI in market research, data analytics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other pre-launch and launch activities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools that enhance visibility into performance and effectiveness.
• Examine and synthesize complex datasets to produce actionable insights that guide marketing and customer engagement strategies.
• Identify performance gaps and propose optimal, data-driven actions and improved strategies.
• Proactively and independently manage tasks as needed, while effectively collaborating to drive transformation within a growing organization.
• Cultivate robust project management capabilities, with experience in structuring projects, directing cross-functional accountability, and facilitating productive meetings and timely deliverables.
• A BA/BS in a quantitative field is required, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Economics. An MS and/or MBA is highly preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech setting, or management consulting, focusing on market research/data science roles, with substantial experience leading market research on pre-launch and in-line products in competitive landscapes.
• Demonstrated success across strategic analytics functions, including secondary data analysis, data science, market research, commercial analytics, and management consulting.
• Experience in dermatology or atopic dermatitis is preferred.
• Proven experience in developing analytic plans and leading research projects is required.
• This position requires up to 20% travel, including mandatory in-person attendance at All Hands meetings held biannually. Additional travel may be necessary for key team meetings and medical or industry conferences in both the US and Europe.
