This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead a team of three direct reports, providing daily coaching and performance management, which includes goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
• Collaborate across functions (HRBPs, Finance, Legal, TA) to ensure alignment within the team regarding compensation decisions and program execution.
• Navigate organizational changes, including growth, M&A integration, geographic expansion, or program redesigns.
• Create and oversee salary structures, job architecture, and pay ranges that are aligned with market benchmarks.
• Spearhead annual compensation planning cycles encompassing merit increases, promotions, and bonus programs.
• Develop and manage variable compensation plans, including sales incentives, commissions, and bonus frameworks.
• Perform market benchmarking and salary surveys to maintain competitiveness.
• Drive analyses of pay equity and implement remediation strategies.
• Oversee equity programs, including grant cycles and governance.
• Collaborate with Finance and Legal on equity strategy and compliance, which is crucial for scaling or pre-IPO SaaS organizations.
• Manage the benefits strategy and administration, covering health, retirement, leave, and wellness programs.
• Handle vendor relationships, renewals, and cost optimization efforts.
• Ensure all programs are competitive, scalable, and cost-efficient.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and global compensation and benefits regulations (such as ERISA, ACA, and pay transparency laws).
• Build and monitor total rewards metrics, including costs, utilization, pay equity, and ROI.
• Develop and maintain policies, documentation, and compensation guidelines.
• Act as the subject matter expert for all compensation and benefits-related decisions.
• Collaborate with leadership on offer strategies, job leveling, and pay decisions.
• Support career frameworks and progression models that are aligned with compensation philosophy.
• 7–10+ years of experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards.
• Experience in high-growth SaaS or tech environments is highly preferred.
• Strong expertise in compensation strategy and benchmarking.
• Proficiency in incentive design, particularly in sales compensation.
• Experience in managing benefits programs.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and financial trade-offs.
• Proven experience in managing annual compensation cycles and conducting pay equity analysis.
• Familiarity with equity programs, such as RSUs and stock options, is preferred.
• Experience supporting global teams or multi-geographic compensation structures, especially in the US and India/EMEA, is a plus.
