This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Develop strategies and designs for data migration that can be executed by FreeBalance Technical Consultants at client sites.
• Create tools and models for the installation and deployment of the FreeBalance Accountability Suite to support project deliveries.
• Partner with the Research and Development Team to design interface components during the deployment of the FreeBalance Accountability Suite.
• Collaborate with Technical and Functional Consultants to develop a training curriculum for customer delivery.
• Oversee the daily operations of the team.
• Work alongside Project Managers to strategize the system rollout for decentralized operations.
• Manage the Operations & Maintenance team in the EMEA region and provide oversight for the remote global team.
• Administer technical tools and research, as well as develop new tools for Technical Consultants' use.
• Create scalable models for implementing the FreeBalance Accountability Suite at data centers and disaster recovery sites where the software is hosted.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency, quality, and timeliness of customer deliveries, as well as adherence to internal policies and communications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Extensive travel is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
• Demonstrated experience in reviewing and developing support and maintenance policies and procedures.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience successfully managing a geographically dispersed Services and Support Team.
• Project Management experience is essential.
• Ability to effectively communicate in meetings with all levels of management and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with goal-setting frameworks such as Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
• Proficient in working with open-source software components like Tomcat, BIRT, and commercial middleware such as MS SQL and Oracle databases operating on Windows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• PMI Certification.
• Additional IT certifications.
