Director, Technical Services – EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Accountable for strategizing and implementing technical services by the Services Department personnel across various FreeBalance Customer locations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

• Provide oversight and technical guidance to the Vice President of the Global Services department, who manages all FreeBalance customer project implementations globally.

• Develop strategies and designs for data migration activities.

• Create tools and models for the Installation and Deployment of the FreeBalance Accountability Suite.

• Work alongside the Research and Development Team to design interface components.

• Partner with Technical and Functional Consultants to develop training curricula.

• Oversee the daily operations of the team.

• Collaborate with Project Managers to strategize system rollouts for decentralized operations.

• Lead the Operations & Maintenance team in EMEA and provide management oversight to the remote teams worldwide.

• Manage technical tools and explore new tools for Technical Consultants' use.

• Develop scalable models for implementing the FreeBalance Accountability Suite at Data Centre and Disaster Recovery Sites.

• Ensure consistency, quality, and timeliness in customer deliveries and communications.

• Extensive travel is a requirement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in Information Technology.

• Demonstrated experience in reviewing and developing Support and Maintenance policies and procedures.

• Minimum of 5 years managing a geographically dispersed Services and Support Team with success.

• Project Management experience is essential.

• Capable of articulating ideas clearly in meetings with all levels of management and stakeholders.

• Familiarity with goal-setting frameworks such as Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).

• Experience with open-source software components like Tomcat, BIRT, and commercial middleware including MS SQL and Oracle databases on Windows Operating Systems.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to travel internationally.

• PMI Certification.

• Other IT certifications are a plus.
