This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and oversee the operational framework for managing hiring and recruiting capacity.
• Take ownership of the entire Talent Acquisition ecosystem: strategy, operational model, team leadership, Talent Operations, systems, and metrics.
• Collaborate with business leaders to shape the Talent Acquisition strategy.
• Evaluate and adjust the operational model to align with hiring demands.
• Manage build-vs-buy decisions related to in-house recruiting, contractors, RPO, and retained search.
• Direct capacity planning, funnel design, SLA targets, and governance of processes.
• Supervise recruiting workflows, dashboards, and ATS requirements.
• Encourage the adoption of new tools and standards throughout the team.
• Define and manage Talent Acquisition KPIs, such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, conversion rates, and quality of hire.
• Create dashboards and establish a reporting rhythm to align with business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop recruiters, sourcers, coordinators, and Talent Operations partners.
• Personally engage in critical and executive searches.
• Develop structured interviewing and evaluation frameworks to minimize bias and enhance decision quality.
• Produce playbooks and resources for hiring managers and interviewers.
• Partner with HRBPs, Finance, Compensation, Legal, and business leaders on workforce planning, prioritization, and hiring decisions.
• Oversee the recruiting technology roadmap, including Ashby, sourcing, reporting, and scheduling tools.
• Discover opportunities for AI to enhance recruiting and Talent Operations.
• Report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Talent Acquisition.
• At least 5 years of experience leading Talent Acquisition in a player/coach capacity.
• Proven ability to manage an integrated Talent Acquisition and Talent Operations model.
• Demonstrated experience in building or redesigning a recruiting operating model, which includes process design, capacity planning, vendor strategy, metrics, systems, and governance.
• Experience managing a hybrid recruiting-capacity model, which includes internal teams, contractors, RPOs, and retained search firms.
• Background in supporting a high-growth or rapidly changing company, scaling hiring to several hundred employees.
• Strong knowledge of recruiting operations, encompassing ATS design, workflows, coordination models, dashboards, data integrity, and reporting.
• Expertise in establishing and enforcing SLA-based metrics.
• Hands-on experience with Ashby or a comparable modern ATS.
• Proficiency in hiring across various levels and functions, from early-career to executive roles.
• Experience in developing employer branding and talent attraction initiatives, including referral programs, internal mobility, and recruiting events.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and motivate diverse audiences.
• Comfort in functioning as an executive partner with a strong perspective, sound judgment, and humility.
• Experience in selecting, implementing, or modernizing recruiting technology and promoting its adoption across a team.
• Familiarity with integrating AI or automation into recruiting and Talent Operations workflows.
• Proven experience in building recruiting dashboards and conducting operational reviews.
• Understanding of workforce management, contingent workforce programs, or vendor governance models.
• Experience in clarifying decision-making rights across Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, HRIS, and People Operations.
• Familiarity with recruiting practices across various regions or within a distributed and remote workforce.
• Experience in fintech, consumer technology, or another regulated or rapidly scaling consumer-facing industry.
• Responding to the role-specific application question requires at least 5 years of experience leading a Talent Acquisition function with direct responsibility for managing and developing Talent Acquisition professionals.
