This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Oversees the Capital Budget for North America (NA) and manages a portfolio of capital projects.
• Collaborates with General Managers at seven locations to create business cases for capital initiatives.
• Acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the development of capital business cases and the approval process.
• Directs and manages large-scale capital investment projects.
• Oversees a varied portfolio of strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing both the top and bottom lines of the business.
• Functions as the NA SME for WAVE, assisting General Managers and their teams with project ideation and growth strategies at the shop level.
• Provides training and technical support for WAVE as required.
• Organizes and leads bi-annual offsite meetings for the NA leadership team, focusing on value creation and strategic business growth.
• Engages in complex scenario planning to offer proactive analysis and suggest process improvements for alternative development plans.
• Effectively conveys key information, including program progress, timeline updates, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in project management, business administration, or a related field.
• MBA or a master’s degree in a related area is preferred.
• Over 7 years of project management experience, including involvement in cross-functional execution for medium to large-scale projects.
• A critical thought partner with a proven ability to connect individuals and ideas to achieve results.
• Capable of connecting, engaging, and influencing teams across various sites to facilitate change management and project execution.
• Self-driven, able to work independently and prioritize effectively; adapts to unexpected changes or challenges and seeks improved solutions.
• Contributes to the sharing of best practices and continuous improvement to support operations and the growth of the business.
• Proficient in managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and status updates.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex data and information into actionable insights.
• Highly detail-oriented with robust project and operations management capabilities.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity.
