This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take charge of the entire lifecycle for Fintech & Payments partnerships β starting from initial outreach and qualification to negotiation, closing, onboarding, and fostering long-term growth.
β’ Identify, assess, and develop a robust pipeline of Fintech & Payments partnerships, each capable of generating over $100M in annual volume.
β’ Direct intricate, multi-stakeholder negotiations with C-suite and VP-level decision-makers at Fintech & Payments firms.
β’ Cultivate and sustain in-depth knowledge of the Fintech & Payments landscape β including key players, purchasing dynamics, competitive factors, regulatory aspects, and partnership models that drive distribution or revenue at scale.
β’ Act as Engine's primary executive relationship manager for Fintech & Payments partners after closing. Promote retention, growth, and partner satisfaction within your portfolio.
β’ Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Finance to create customized proposals, facilitate partner onboarding, and ensure alignment between Engine's platform capabilities and Fintech & Payments partner requirements.
β’ Represent Engine at Fintech & Payments-related conferences, industry events, and executive forums. Enhance Engine's brand and credibility in the market.
β’ Keep a well-organized, accurate pipeline in Salesforce. Provide clear forecasts, communicate updates to leadership, and utilize tools like ZoomInfo, Outreach, and Gong to enhance efficiency.
β’ As the Fintech & Payments vertical grows and evolves, recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing Business Development team under your guidance.
β’ Over 10 years of strategic business development, partnerships, or enterprise sales experience with a strong focus on Fintech & Payments. Established network and credibility within the Fintech & Payments ecosystem.
β’ A proven track record of sourcing, structuring, and closing complex B2B partnerships at a significant scale β rather than merely transactional deals. You have managed high-value portfolios and understand what it takes to win and maintain strategic accounts.
β’ Strong executive presence with the capability to navigate intricate organizations, establish trust with senior stakeholders, and lead high-stakes discussions at the C-suite level.
β’ You develop the playbook as you proceed. You excel in environments lacking a defined script, independently identifying the right course of action, and transforming ambiguity into progress.
β’ Experience in building, managing, or mentoring business development or sales teams β coupled with a genuine motivation to scale a high-performing team as this vertical expands.
β’ Ability to model and articulate the commercial value of complex deals. Comfortable with deal economics, partnership frameworks, and ensuring cross-functional alignment on contract terms.
β’ Background in travel, fintech, SaaS, or marketplace platforms is a significant advantage. Familiarity with the corporate travel ecosystem is a plus.
