This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing team of planners throughout the organization.
• Mentor and guide team members to enhance their planning expertise and promote career advancement.
• Cultivate a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of team capacity, project requirements, and individual strengths in collaboration with the Regional Directors.
• Align planning resources with appropriate projects to ensure quality and efficiency in conjunction with the Regional Directors.
• Collaborate with practice and project leaders to enhance team performance.
• Propel CannonDesign’s vision for innovative laboratory planning forward.
• Advocate for new methodologies, tools, and approaches that redefine planning excellence.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate emerging ideas into practice.
• Lead recruitment initiatives to attract top-tier planning talent.
• Formulate strategies to retain and engage team members.
• Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in team development.
• Collaborate with S&T Practice and Business Development teams to secure transformative projects.
• Responsible for generating top-line revenue, targeting $1.25M in personal net signed fees (NSF) annually, and participating in $3M in NSF annually.
• Represent CannonDesign in client interactions, conferences, and industry forums.
• Contribute to thought leadership through writing, speaking, and advocacy, with at least one published paper and two conference presentations per year.
• Establish yourself as a recognized thought leader in the S&T industry—acknowledged by peers and clients for advancing innovation through published works, speaking engagements, and professional leadership.
• A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Proven experience in S&T planning, ideally with 15 years of experience.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare systems, planning methodologies, and design integration.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
• Experience in business development and client relations.
• Demonstrated capability to generate revenue and achieve financial objectives.
• A passion for innovation and ongoing improvement.
