Director, Specialty Pharmacy Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Leading, overseeing, and optimizing specialty pharmacy operations within Madrigal’s Market Access and Trade team.

• Managing dispensing operations throughout the channel to foster ongoing enhancements in patient access and adherence.

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as MPS, Marketing, Data Analytics, Medical Affairs, Finance, Pricing & Contracting, Regulatory, Legal, and the Market Access field team.

• Engaging with external stakeholders regarding daily program operations and the analysis of essential data and KPIs.

• Designing and executing operational frameworks to support Madrigal’s specialty pharmacy network strategy.

• Supervising brand planning initiatives, operational plans, project budgets, expenses, and timelines.

• Ensuring timely and precise reporting of Adverse Events received through the specialty pharmacy network.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree in Business or Pharmacy is preferred.

• 12-15+ years of relevant experience in the biopharma industry with a strong record in leadership positions.

• 7-10 years of experience in managing customer/vendor relations in the healthcare industry is strongly preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in operationalizing specialty pharmacy programs and networks is required.

• Capability to derive insights from data trends to enhance program performance.

• Experience with pre-launch pharmaceuticals and new product rollouts is preferred.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

• Exceptional written, organizational, verbal, presentation, and communication skills are essential.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
