Director, Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic and technical oversight for software platforms.

• Drive modernization efforts and oversee team performance.

• Set architectural standards and uphold secure coding practices.

• Work in close collaboration with Product Management and internal stakeholders.

• Supervise system architecture and advocate for security-first development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional experience in software development.

• More than 5 years of experience leading engineering teams (experience managing managers is preferred).

• Background in developing software within healthcare or regulated environments (preferably with HIPAA exposure).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (Master’s degree is preferred).

• Strong expertise in .NET, Angular, SQL Server, and contemporary cloud-ready architectures.

• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, pipelines, Git, and release management.

• Deep understanding of modern software architecture, APIs, and web technologies.

• Capability to integrate AI tools into engineering workflows.
