This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee business development and strategic solutions for Intel's system-level simulation technologies.
• Establish and expand external customer opportunities in areas such as virtual prototyping, architecture exploration, functional simulation, power/performance/thermal modeling, digital twin concepts, and associated EDA/ESL workflows.
• Cultivate and enhance external opportunities related to Simics, Docea, CoFluent, and similar capabilities.
• Convert internal capabilities into customer-oriented value propositions, scalable solution offerings, commercialization strategies, and repeatable adoption processes.
• Formulate business strategies, growth initiatives, and go-to-market plans for standalone simulation offerings as well as broader engagements in silicon, foundry, datacenter, and AI sectors.
• Evaluate market prospects, competitive positioning, and customer needs to inform investment priorities and growth strategies.
• Establish pricing, packaging, licensing, and commercialization strategies.
• Develop solution offerings, technical narratives, business cases, roadmaps, and executive-level recommendations.
• Identify, qualify, and prioritize external opportunities that expedite customer adoption, mitigate development risks, and facilitate larger engagements.
• Foster strategic relationships within the EDA, semiconductor, foundry, custom silicon, and ecosystem partner landscapes.
• Assist customer pursuits by engaging in solution architecture discussions, proposal development, technical positioning, and partner alignment.
• Collaborate with business, product, sales, and ecosystem teams on market positioning, customer adoption strategies, and scalable revenue models.
• Create scalable delivery mechanisms, governance frameworks, success metrics, and operational processes.
• Balance the development of external opportunities with internal roadmap commitments, resources, delivery quality, and long-term capability growth.
• Represent the organization in high-level technical and business discussions, influencing decisions among stakeholders.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Over 15 years of experience in semiconductor, systems, software, EDA, ESL, virtual prototyping, system-level simulation, technical business development, solution architecture, or related technical fields.
• Strong expertise in system simulation technologies, including virtual platforms, functional simulation, architecture exploration, digital twin concepts, and power/performance/thermal modeling.
• Practical experience with one or more of the following: Simics, Docea, CoFluent, SystemC, EDA/ESL tools and workflows, embedded software, firmware, BIOS/OS integration, RTL front-end development, or hardware/software co-design.
• Capability to translate intricate technical capabilities into customer-facing value propositions, solution offerings, and scalable adoption frameworks.
• Experience in engaging customers, partners, or ecosystem stakeholders in solution architecture, business development, or strategic partnership initiatives.
• Proven record in business strategy, growth planning, market positioning, customer requirements, pricing and packaging, or go-to-market models for technical solutions.
• Proficient in steering complex technical programs, customer engagements, or partner initiatives from concept to execution.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred: advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in commercializing, externalizing, or scaling internal engineering tools, platforms, methodologies, or services into customer-focused solutions.
• In-depth understanding of foundry, custom silicon, purpose-built silicon, Client, Datacenter, AI, or other vertical-market customer requirements.
• Familiarity with EDA and semiconductor ecosystem business models, including licensing, services, co-development, partner-led delivery, and value-based solutions.
• Ability to forge strategic partnerships with customers, vendors, suppliers, ecosystem partners, and internal teams.
• Competence in effectively navigating ambiguous business environments and developing scalable delivery models.
• Ability to balance hands-on solution architecture with customer development, business strategy, technical rigor, and delivery governance.
• Willingness and capability to support a global role, collaborate across time zones, and travel for business as necessary.
• Must reside and work in India, where Intel has a legal presence.
• Must agree to and successfully pass an extended background investigation.
• Fully remote work model, with occasional attendance at Intel facilities based on business needs.
• Global role with business travel as required.
