• The Director - Sales & Service Technology at GuidePoint Security serves as the accountable technology leader for Salesforce-centered platforms, integrations, and business processes that support sales, service delivery, professional services, finance handoffs, and overall business operations. This position entails ownership rather than mere coordination, ensuring that Sales & Service technology initiatives deliver measurable business value, align with Business Analyst-led requirements and architect-approved designs, and are executed through disciplined engineering, quality releases, user adoption, support, and ongoing improvement.
• The Director is expected to possess strong technical skills, fluency in business processes, and a leadership mindset focused on ownership to challenge designs, assess trade-offs, guide delivery teams, and promote platform health across Salesforce, Certinia PSA, Quote-to-Cash capabilities, ZoomInfo, Outreach, integrations, Data Cloud, Agentforce, and AI-enabled functionalities. This leader will foster change, innovation, and process maturity by facilitating discussions among executives, business stakeholders, architects, technical teams, vendors, and delivery personnel throughout the ownership cycle, from strategy formulation to operational support.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in enterprise Sales & Service technology, business systems, CRM, revenue operations, PSA, sales engagement, data enrichment, or Salesforce platform environments.
• Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end business processes, including quote-to-cash, sales operations, service delivery, revenue operations, finance handoffs, reporting, and operational processes.
• Profound technical knowledge of Salesforce and related systems, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud/CPQ, Certinia PSA, Data Cloud, Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs, middleware, integrations, metadata, environments, security models, data models, and platform constraints.
• Experience managing adjacent Sales & Service platforms like ZoomInfo, Outreach, sales engagement tools, data enrichment tools, PSA systems, and interconnected SaaS applications.
• Skilled in assessing Salesforce architecture, solution designs, technical trade-offs, integration patterns, data flows, and delivery risks in collaboration with architects, developers, administrators, and implementation partners.
• Familiarity with Salesforce SDLC, DevOps, release management, sandbox strategies, version control, CI/CD, deployment governance, and collaboration with QA teams on testing strategies and coverage readiness.
• Knowledgeable about Agentforce, Einstein, Data Cloud, AI-enabled automation, Salesforce AI governance, responsible AI practices, data grounding, access controls, observability, and user adoption considerations.
• Proven experience leading technology teams, vendors, managed service providers, budget management, capacity planning, resource utilization, sprint maintenance, backlog prioritization, and handling complex technology portfolios.
• Outstanding executive communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate between business processes, architecture, technical delivery, operational support, and financial impact audiences.
• An independent, analytical leadership approach with a proven ability to drive change, innovation, continuous improvement, and practical decision-making amidst ambiguity and competing priorities.
