
Director, Sales – Mid Market

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and oversee a robust sales pipeline while consistently closing deals and surpassing quarterly and annual sales goals
• Serve as a trusted consultant and advisor to benefits executives and healthcare consultants, gaining insights into clients' challenges and purchasing needs
• Deliver engaging presentations and become proficient in Progyny’s family building and women's health offerings
• Collaborate with internal teams to collect feedback from prospects and contribute to the product development roadmap
• Provide outstanding customer service in a dynamic environment
• Accurately forecast sales and work collaboratively with team members
• Understand the competitive landscape and effectively position Progyny’s benefit offerings to generate new business
• 8+ years of experience in selling healthcare products or point solutions to employer groups, focusing on small to mid-market segments
• Proven experience working for or alongside consulting firms that assist employers in evaluating new benefits or vendors providing ancillary benefits
• Demonstrated ability to identify, cultivate, and lead commercial talent
• Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, marketing, or a related field is preferred
• Willingness to travel up to 40% to meet with clients, prospects, and partners
• A solid track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and closing skills
• Enthusiasm and drive to sell innovative family building products and generate new business
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, capable of conveying Progyny’s messaging both in-person and through remote sales channels
• Ability to establish and nurture relationships at all organizational levels
• Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce
• Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
