This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Implement the HealthSpring Medicare broker sales strategy across local agencies, directly contracted agents, and FMO partners.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with broker and agency leadership.
• Provide insights into the market, sales data, product education, and operational updates.
• Propel growth through focused sales strategies, agency development, recruitment support, and community engagement.
• Oversee a designated territory.
• Assist in sales events and presentations.
• Monitor campaign performance.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations.
• Ensure adherence to marketing and broker engagement regulations.
• Conduct training sessions and business reviews for partners.
• Create sales tools and communications for distribution partners.
• Enhance broker engagement, brand visibility, and sales growth.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of health insurance sales experience OR Master’s degree with 2 years of health insurance sales experience OR 8 years of health insurance sales experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of health insurance sales experience through the stated alternatives.
• Experience in managing broker and/or field sales teams.
• Proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding sales objectives.
• Familiarity with the health insurance industry, producer community, and Consumer Markets products.
• Strong marketing skills.
• Effective consultative skills.
• Proficient training abilities.
• Skilled in interviewing and selection processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal abilities, relationship building, presentation creation and facilitation, and interviewing.
• Proficient in PC applications such as Microsoft Office and database management.
• Active department of insurance license from the state of residence or reciprocity.
• Preferred experience with Medicare products, including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (PDP), and Medicare Supplement products.
• Familiarity with CMS Medicare Marketing Guidelines and procedures is preferred.
• Knowledge of customer features, benefits, and Medicare & Medicaid is preferred.
