This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Accountable for the hands-on creation of high-quality, client-ready materials related to RWD Strategy for client engagements using PPT and Word documents.
• Attend and represent RWD Strategy for opportunities in Europe with clients.
• Identify areas where RWD can provide added value and position RWD Strategies to deliver successful solutions.
• Oversee the implementation of a global RWD acquisition strategy within the region.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend strategies to enhance access to RWD and scientific data to address gaps in Parexel’s regional coverage.
• Conduct return-on-investment evaluations to guide decisions on potential strategic partnerships with selected data providers.
• Manage governance frameworks for regional RWD partners and suppliers.
• Ensure specifications in the data catalog are current (e.g., new functionalities) and facilitate training and use across business partners.
• Confirm that data access and usage are fully operational.
• Advance regional data acquisition in alignment with business partner strategies and needs.
• Track KPIs to ensure effective data utilization and make adjustments to optimize return-on-investment as necessary.
• Assess partner capabilities and services, providing recommendations on how to enhance the partnership (e.g., improving direct access, turnaround feasibility).
• Collaborate with Procurement/LRM to establish and manage qualification, due diligence, and contracting processes.
• Monitor project progress and identify areas for improvement in the PXL-partner relationship.
• Partner with technology teams to ensure that region-specific requirements for system architecture are fulfilled.
• Over 10 years of experience in the industry (CRO/Pharma/Data Vendor).
• Comprehensive understanding of the clinical research process and business, as well as the development of medicines and medical devices, healthcare markets, and related sectors.
• Extensive cross-functional experience within the healthcare, scientific, and real-world data landscape.
• Familiarity with major patient data models (e.g., CDISC, OMOP, LOINC, FHIR, MEDRA, SNOMED, etc.).
• Proven ability to apply scientific or real-world data solutions to address clinical or commercial inquiries and needs.
• Proficient in budgeting and cost assessment for RWD-based solutions.
• Understanding of project management principles.
• Master’s degree in biomedical informatics, public health, data science, life sciences, or a related field.
• An advanced degree (or equivalent experience) in biomedical informatics, public health, data science, life sciences, or a related field is preferred.
• Capable of effectively translating strategy into actionable plans.
• Leadership abilities in a dynamic environment – change management.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer focus (both internal and external).
• Experience in building meaningful external partnerships and collaborations with health systems, vendor companies, and individual contributors within the region.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
• Skilled in identifying where regulated requirements apply.
• Technical proficiency in preparing and processing RWD for application and analysis.
