Director Research

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Candidate Sourcing & Identification: Generate longlists for C-level and Senior Sales/GTM roles using LinkedIn Recruiter, Apollo, AI sourcing tools, and your own research techniques.

• Market Mapping: Thoroughly analyze target sectors, competitors, and career trajectories to identify relevant candidates, track movement, and pinpoint those ready for advancement.

• AI-Driven Research: Utilize and enhance our AI sourcing processes (ChatGPT, Claude, Custom Agents) to improve and scale the quality of our research efforts.

• Candidate Profiling: Develop structured candidate profiles, perform background evaluations, and deliver initial assessments aligned with the scorecard criteria.

• Knowledge Building: Establish and sustain our internal talent database and industry insights for ongoing mandates (PE portfolio, DACH B2B).

⛳️ Requirements

• Research Experience in a Top-Tier Executive Search Firm: Multiple years in a Senior Researcher position at a prominent global search firm or a comparable boutique.

• Research Excellence & Speed: You possess the ability to quickly understand new industries and profile requirements, and you excel at digging deeper to find the ideal candidate.

• Tool Mastery: Technical competency with a willingness to leverage the accuracy and efficiency of emerging AI tools (e.g., Juicebox, Apollo) as well as experience with traditional search tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).

• Structured Analytical Mindset: You approach research with a market-oriented, pattern-based perspective, focusing on hypothesis-driven rather than blind list processing.

• Language: Proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of German is advantageous.
