Director – Renewable Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee wind, solar, storage, and geothermal projects within the California region.

• Drive development initiatives in the early, mid, and/or late phases of projects.

• Identify potential development opportunities, which includes market evaluations, recognizing critical flaws, and conducting preliminary site assessments.

• Secure site control for development opportunities, which involves negotiating leases, easements, and other agreements with property owners.

• Play a key role in acquiring necessary local, state, and/or federal permits.

• Represent Invenergy in interactions with customers, landowners, state and local officials, and other stakeholders.

• Initiate activities related to generation interconnection.

• Manage tasks in accordance with budgets and timelines, including coordinating both internal and external technical support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• Over 8 years of experience in energy project development, transmission, or power project engineering.

• A valid driver's license and the capability to travel to project sites and company offices.
