This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.
• Act as the primary commercial liaison for National and Regional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Identify and map all academic and community-based KOLs, facilitating the understanding of referral patterns between KOLs in centers of excellence and the community.
• Engage with the next tier of KOLs, including Emerging Opinion Leaders and Digital Opinion Leaders.
• Gain insights into regional and KOL-specific practice patterns to identify significant unmet needs in Acromegaly treatment.
• Support and participate in regional advisory boards by spearheading the recruitment of advisors and coordinating with vendors to generate actionable insights.
• Develop and manage KOL-specific engagement strategies, promoting advocacy for Paltusotine following FDA approval.
• Collaborate with KOLs to obtain feedback on market development initiatives, including disease state education and promotional strategies.
• Lead KOL engagement with Crinetics leadership through various forums, including one-on-one meetings and conferences.
• Customize national brand strategies to align with local market dynamics.
• Manage and implement regional marketing initiatives, such as non-personal promotions and local sponsorships.
• Oversee the regional marketing budget.
• Assist in the recruitment and development of the speaker bureau in partnership with the commercial operations team.
• Contribute to the development and execution of Speaker Training for branded and disease state initiatives.
• Work alongside the marketing team to create peer-to-peer content, including educational videos, promotional materials, and assets for patient events.
• Lead Crinetics’ engagement at national, regional, and local congresses, ensuring cross-functional coordination with medical, sales, and marketing teams.
• Support the commercial team in crafting a top-tier disease state and product training curriculum that incorporates KOL input and involvement.
• Provide the commercial team with in-market insights on core promotional activities following product approval.
• Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional partners, including field sales leaders, sales representatives, National Account Directors, and Regional Reimbursement Directors to ensure effective execution of promotional activities.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 15 years of combined experience in sales, marketing, account management, or related fields within the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in rare diseases or endocrinology is preferred.
• Proven experience in KOL identification, development, and engagement, including leadership of speaker bureaus or advisory boards.
• A successful track record in product launch planning (both field and internal) as well as experience in creatively driving brand uptake and overcoming obstacles to commercial success.
• Demonstrated effective collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, field reimbursement specialists, and MSLs.
• Proven ability to build productive relationships with external stakeholders, such as KOLs, practice managers, vendors, and internal commercial teams.
• Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
• Ability to lead and influence without direct authority.
