This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Overseeing various projects involving cross-functional teams.
• Acting as the project manager and primary point of contact for clients.
• Responsible for maintaining overall quality standards.
• Formulating recommendations based on anticipated impact.
• Communicating potential risks and opportunities to ensure team alignment.
• Taking on the role of final decision-maker, with the authority to reverse decisions and accept accountability for results.
• Ensuring timely project delivery and financial success across all initiatives.
• Reviewing and approving deliverables to ensure they are client-ready, including protocols, statistical analysis plans, technical reports, and presentations.
• Identifying necessary deviations from templates to guarantee content aligns with project objectives.
• Providing final approval on updated slides, meeting minutes, and actions for the overall study.
• Maintaining relationships with clients and being recognized as a subject matter expert.
• Serving as an advisor during client calls and in email correspondence.
• Proactively managing client expectations and collaborating with team members to develop strategies for problem-solving on a client or project basis.
• Participating in sales calls, leading study conceptualization, and drafting proposals for clients.
• Holding line management responsibilities, which include ensuring appropriate staffing and creating development plans for direct reports.
• 8-10 years of experience, with a minimum of four years in a consulting environment.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field related to health services research, such as health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, or public health.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team.
• Awareness and understanding of financial performance in projects.
• Capability to line-manage and mentor direct reports while ensuring positive staff wellbeing and team dynamics.
