This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +4 more states.
• Acts as both a strategic and technical consultant.
• Oversees organizational stewardship for high-level and strategic accounts, while providing leadership in practices and services.
• Supervises senior leadership with minimal assignments.
• Establishes and is accountable for growth strategies and targets.
• Reviews and approves all proposals before submission.
• Supports leadership and management in developing proposal and pitch strategies.
• Collaborates with the Managing Director and Leadership Team to define the strategic direction and priorities for BME Strategies, producing and managing work plans and future project pipelines.
• Guides and mentors Practice Leads and individual consultants who serve client programs in Business Development, KPIs, reporting support, and management.
• Shapes the firm's initiatives through a health equity perspective to actively work towards reducing health disparities.
• Assists the Executive Team/Managing Director of BME Strategies in executing the firm's core functions, including the design and execution of public health programs, new business development, and enhancing client services.
• In partnership with the Director of Business Development, leads and oversees the preparation of project and grant proposals and applications while managing the completion of project and grant deliverables.
• Directs research development, data collection, and analysis for monitoring, evaluation, and program implementation.
• Supervises the creation of reports that present findings from BME projects and identify potential solutions and areas for improvement based on data trends.
• Aids in the preparation of data, results, and journal submissions for publication.
• Effectively communicates and collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Leads performance management and quality improvement initiatives related to client programs and internal BME services.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required.
• Required expertise includes project management, data analysis, Public Health, strategy consulting, and grant sourcing and management.
• Experience in local public health within one of the following states: NY, NJ, PA, MD, VA.
• At least 6 years of direct people management experience, leading teams through complex Public Health interventions.
• Minimum of 6 years in leadership within a practice/service area.
• Master’s degree in Public Health or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of client-facing experience, with 7 or more years in project leadership roles.
• Ability to operate independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to balance personnel management with individual output across multiple tasks, showcasing excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A collaborative and supportive working style, with the capacity to engage positively with a range of team members, clients, and stakeholders.
