Director, Proposal Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete proposal development process from start to finish.

• Establish goals, timelines, workflows, and objectives for projects related to proposals.

• Identify, evaluate, and analyze RFXs and other sales opportunities.

• Lead proposal efforts by organizing meetings and facilitating communications.

• Formulate proposal strategies and convert those strategies into clear, persuasive, and compliant responses.

• Manage logistical aspects of proposals, such as calendars, kick-off meetings, and review cycles.

• Assist Sales team members with documentation related to contracts.

• Act as the main point of contact for proposal and procurement relationships.

• Create, maintain, and consistently enhance a database of standardized proposal responses.

• Track proposal performance, market trends, and industry benchmarks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, education, journalism, communications, or a related discipline is required; an advanced degree or equivalent leadership experience is preferred.

• More than 7 years of progressive experience in proposal management, RFP/RFX response development, bid strategy, and support for complex sales.

• Proven experience in leading comprehensive proposal development processes.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Outstanding attention to detail and expertise in project management.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fully remote setting.

• Experience with proposal automation, content management, CRM, contract management, or workflow systems is preferred.

• Previous experience with K-12 literacy curriculums, educational technology, or instructional materials is preferred.
