This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +21 more states.
• Translate the company's three- to five-year strategic plan into annual operating objectives, quarterly priorities, measurable goals, and assigned accountability.
• Collaborate with the CEO on organizational structure, capital allocation, pricing strategies, service expansion, technology investments, and market entry decisions.
• Establish a regular executive operating rhythm, which includes leadership meetings, KPI assessments, risk management, and decision tracking.
• Oversee significant cross-functional projects set for rollout between August 2026 and January 2027, encompassing the new 2027 operating model and P&L budget.
• Manage the comprehensive delivery of regulatory filings, licensing, compliance, project management, and managed-portfolio services.
• Develop a scalable Project Management Office (PMO) with uniform intake, scoping, staffing, scheduling, quality assurance, escalation processes, and client standards.
• Implement methodologies for capacity planning, utilization, project profitability, delivery forecasts, and resource allocation.
• Standardize workflows across U.S. and offshore teams while maintaining a high level of client-specific regulatory expertise.
• Act as the executive sponsor for key strategic accounts, ensuring prompt intervention on delivery, relationship, or financial challenges.
• Collaborate with business development teams on solution design, pricing strategies, proposals, implementation, and readiness for new sales opportunities.
• Enhance recurring revenue through standardized managed-service offerings, annual retainers, and cross-selling opportunities within health plans, PBM, TPA, and related markets.
• Drive the adoption of AI-enhanced filing workflows, knowledge management systems, project automation, CRM practices, and regulatory tools.
• Identify processes that can be automated, standardized, centralized, outsourced, or phased out.
• Work alongside technology teams to develop ClearFile's long-term regulatory operations platform and supporting data architecture.
• Cultivate and mentor leadership across operations, client services, project management, regulatory delivery, and business support.
• Implement performance management systems, clarify roles, succession planning, professional development, onboarding, and workforce strategies.
• Launch a standardized PMO and client-success operating framework across major engagements.
• Enhance visibility into project margins, capacity, utilization, revenue forecasts, and account risks.
• Decrease CEO reliance for everyday operations and issue resolution.
• Establish an AI and workflow automation roadmap linked to productivity and margin enhancements.
• Over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare payer operations, regulatory consulting, professional services, managed services, health technology, or a closely related domain.
• Proven success in managing operations, client delivery, transformation initiatives, and financial outcomes in a growth-focused or entrepreneurial setting.
• Strong understanding of healthcare payers, regulatory operations, compliance, project delivery, and technology-enabled services is preferred.
• Executive-level financial expertise, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategies, margin management, capacity planning, and P&L responsibility.
• Capability to operate strategically while being hands-on, decisive, and highly accountable in fast-paced environments.
• Possess executive presence and sound judgment.
• Ability to foster clarity, trust, and accountability within a growing organization.
