This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete project management lifecycle for revisions and updates to AP courses and exams.
• Take ownership of ongoing enhancements for course and exam changes, along with standard setting roadmaps.
• Create and manage scalable project plans, timelines, milestones, process documentation, and templates using Smartsheet.
• Track progress, dependencies, risks, issues, changes, project health, and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure deliverables are achieved on schedule, within the defined scope, and meet high-quality standards.
• Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership effectively.
• Foster accountability among cross-functional teams and suggest tradeoffs concerning scope, timelines, and resources.
• Investigate and incorporate approved Generative AI tools into project management processes.
• Standardize workflows and enhance tracking systems, dashboards, documentation, and operational transparency.
• Act as the main liaison for AP Curriculum and Assessment for initiatives across departments.
• Convert cross-functional feedback into actionable project plans and timelines.
• Oversee the execution of special projects that involve C&A staff.
• Assist in planning and coordinating standard setting in collaboration with Psychometrics.
• Collaborate on contracts and budgeting while helping to manage operational resources effectively.
• Maintain awareness of team interdependencies and escalate any risks or misalignments as necessary.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management is required.
• Experience in the higher education sector is preferred.
• Exceptional proficiency in Smartsheet and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills and capability for data-driven decision-making and prioritization.
• Ability to forecast and evaluate using relevant metrics.
• Competence in managing multiple interdependent workstreams while ensuring projects and budgets remain on track.
• Experience in contract partnerships and budget management for complex projects.
• Capacity to identify risks early and creatively solve problems.
• Proven track record of building relationships and influencing others towards action.
• Ability to conduct meetings effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Superior presentation and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage the entire lifecycle of a process or product line from strategic planning to tactical execution.
• Strong focus on customer service.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• Willingness to travel 3–6 times a year to College Board offices or for College Board business.
