Director, Programmatic Sales – Austin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Drive demand for Wunderkind's display and video ad inventory among agencies and advertisers throughout Texas, including various agency and brand accounts.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Wunderkind product suite and how its unique features can address client needs.

• Forge relationships with key decision-makers in the programmatic buying cycle, such as in-house marketers, agencies, and trading desks.

• Create and implement effective sales strategies targeting qualified prospects.

• Collaborate closely with account managers to ensure accounts receive optimal service and that revenue potential is maximized.

• Serve as a liaison between the market and Wunderkind's internal team to ensure the product evolves in line with buyers' demands.

• Achieve or surpass revenue targets across a designated list of agency, trading desk, brand, and DSP accounts in Austin and the broader Texas region.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree along with experience in digital media or digital advertising.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in online programmatic advertising sales, with at least 5 years in a dedicated sales role.

• Ownership and growth of the largest or most strategic territory within the assigned pod to meet team and individual revenue objectives.

• Extensive background in the programmatic industry, demonstrating a successful history of driving business growth.

• Strong network of contacts on the buy side, with established rapport and trust.

• Experience with DSPs, ad exchanges, ad servers, and other optimization platforms is advantageous.

• Proven experience in selling CPA, CPC, and CPM marketing campaigns.

• Highly motivated, tenacious, and resourceful.

• Persuasive and compelling communicator.

• Comfortable in a dynamic, high-growth environment where roles and responsibilities may evolve.

• Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for the marketing technology sector and a healthy dose of humility.
