This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversees the Global and US Medical Review Committees and is responsible for the MRC Global Policy and its processes.
• Directs the Global and US Grants Review Committee process, including the implementation of Medical Education, IME, CME, Grants, Sponsorships, and contributes to the overall process development.
• Facilitates the evaluation, approval, and delivery of enterprise and GXP training for Medical Affairs personnel, including during onboarding (excludes scientific training on data, publications, disease-state, and competitors).
• Leads and supports continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO by sharing best practices, identifying opportunities/interdependencies/risks across projects and functions, assessing key performance metrics, and establishing standardization across GMA.
• Provides project management for GMALT and operational initiatives that support the GMA Leadership Team, including the planning of Global Town Halls and other cross-GMA team meetings.
• Assists the Vice President of Global Medical Excellence in managing budgets across GMA.
• Aids the contracting process in Global and US, ensuring adherence to best practices across all regions.
• Acts as a liaison to key cross-functional partners including Compliance, Finance, Procurement, Regulatory, Quality, and PRC.
• Proactively identifies key milestones, interdependencies, risks, and resource constraints that may affect plans/timelines, collaborating with teams to develop suitable solutions.
• Develops and maintains project timelines that serve as essential tools for tracking progress towards objectives; effectively manages the critical path of projects with transparency.
• Communicates actions, decisions, timelines, risks, and changes to plans effectively.
• Manages and facilitates various meetings efficiently and oversees meeting documentation (agendas, minutes, action/decision trackers, etc.).
• Promotes the use of consistent project management tools and practices.
• Collaborates with non-GMA stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Procurement) to ensure effective execution.
• Quickly establishes rapport with all key internal/external partners and stakeholders, influencing without direct authority.
• Enhances communication within and between teams, both during meetings and at different organizational levels.
• Creates and presents critical presentations to communicate medical processes and governance.
• Demonstrates the ability to quickly learn new technologies and platforms.
• Ensures compliance with corporate policies and procedures, as well as US healthcare laws and regulations.
• BA/BS degree with over 10 years of experience or a Master's degree or higher with at least 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a project or program management role or in Medical Operations.
• Strong industry experience with a comprehensive understanding of the biotech/pharmaceutical sector and previous drug development experience is essential.
• Operational experience within Medical Affairs is required.
• Experience in the oncology therapeutic area is preferred.

• Business Sense – possesses strong business acumen, capable of discerning priorities and making sound judgment calls when necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet is preferred, and competency is required.
• Knowledge of Veeva MedComms, VVQD, Cybergrants is advantageous.
• Project Management certification is a plus.
