This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of go-to-market initiatives for core banking, credit, rewards, lending, and investing.
• Manage cross-functional operations between Step and Beast Industries, fostering collaborations, product integrations, and the expansion of partnerships.
• Drive comprehensive lifecycle marketing efforts from initial awareness through to engagement and retention.
• Implement large-scale loyalty and gamification programs.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to execute campaigns focused on driving signups, expansion, and product adoption.
• Represent customer interests through research and discovery, translating their needs into actionable insights for the product roadmap.
• Work closely with product, design, customer support, engineering, and other departments to enhance conversion rates and retention.
• Oversee annual and quarterly plans aimed at promoting customer lifecycle growth and deriving impactful learnings.
• Build, nurture, and mentor the product marketing and lifecycle marketing teams.
• Report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
• Minimum of 8 years of marketing experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in product marketing.
• Preference for candidates with experience in a startup environment.
• Proven product marketing expertise across the funnel in B2C technology and/or consumer applications.
• Experience in managing a developing product marketing/lifecycle marketing team with direct accountability for owned communication channels.
• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to create clear and compelling narratives tailored for diverse audiences.
• Possess an analytical and experimental mindset; adept at leveraging data and insights for generating ideas, making decisions, and driving growth.
• Familiarity with Braze.
• Proficient in Mixpanel.
• Experience with Looker.
• Knowledge of Claude.
• Experience with Twilio.
• Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience.
