This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +23 more states.
• Define and manage the long-term strategy and roadmap for Search & Match.
• Connect algorithmic advancements with business outcomes, enhancing enterprise customer value and job seeker engagement.
• Lead search, ranking, and recommendation strategies within B2C and B2B marketplace operations.
• Oversee team capacity, compute/infrastructure investments, and prioritize features.
• Analyze trends in search, vector embeddings, and machine learning.
• Convert search performance, algorithmic models, and marketplace dynamics into presentations suitable for executives and the board.
• Foster consensus among Engineering, Data Science, UX, Enterprise GTM, and Consumer Operations teams.
• Navigate teams through strategic shifts, organizational priorities, and technological transformations.
• Direct cross-functional product teams focusing on match scoring, candidate indexing, search relevance, and recommendation feeds.
• Set metrics for precision, recall, match relevance, search latency, and marketplace liquidity.
• Manage A/B testing and experimentation processes.
• Mentor and develop Product Managers.
• Create operational frameworks, governance practices, and decision-making standards.
• 8–10+ years of experience in product management, particularly in leading two-sided marketplaces, search engines, recommendation systems, or match platforms.
• Outstanding presentation and storytelling skills; capable of influencing executive leadership, translating complex technical subjects into business impacts, and achieving organizational alignment.
• Strong commercial insight linking algorithmic performance to platform health and client retention.
• Proven ability to balance B2C consumer discovery with B2B enterprise/recruiter search workflows.
• Experience in defining functional product strategies, managing engineering trade-offs, and maximizing investment ROI without direct P&L oversight.
• Cross-functional leadership experience encompassing Data Science, Machine Learning, UX, and Commercial teams.
• Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and leading product managers.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical, quantitative, or business field (or equivalent practical experience).
