This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ottimate's new initiatives portfolio, which encompasses procurement, budgeting and spend planning, and contract management.
• Guide customer discovery and validate the market for new product categories.
• Identify significant problems to solve, assess opportunities, and create compelling business cases for investment.
• Drive new products from initial concept to launch by defining MVPs, establishing success metrics, and iterating based on customer and market insights.
• Oversee, mentor, and develop a team of product managers and designers.
• Establish clear objectives, nurture talent, and foster a culture of craftsmanship and accountability.
• Lead the Design and UX function, ensuring design quality, consistency, and the evolution of Ottimate's design system.
• Collaborate with engineering and data science leadership on prioritization, sequencing, and delivery strategies.
• Guarantee the team meets predictable shipping targets against committed milestones.
• Work together with sales, marketing, and customer success on positioning, pricing strategies, launch readiness, and early customer adoption.
• Define and monitor portfolio-level metrics, utilizing data for build/kill/pivot decision-making.
• Update executive leadership on progress.
• Advocate for the voice of the customer in executive planning sessions.
• Serve as the product representative externally with customers, prospects, and partners.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, including at least 3 years of managing product managers, designers, or both.
• Extensive experience with B2B SaaS platforms; expertise in workflow, data, or automation products.
• Domain expertise in one or more areas: procurement/procure-to-pay, budgeting and spend management, contract lifecycle management, or sourcing.
• Proven track record of bringing new products from concept to market.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, conduct customer discovery, and build a case for investment even before data is available.
• Demonstrated leadership in design and UX, either through direct management of designers or collaborative partnerships with design teams.
• Strong analytical capabilities; comfortable defining metrics, interpreting product data, and leveraging it to inform decisions.
• Experience working with complex operational customers, including multi-entity and multi-location setups.
• Clear and credible communication skills with executives, engineers, and customers.
• Domain knowledge in accounts payable, source-to-pay suites, or finance operations is a plus.
• Experience delivering AI/ML-powered features is a plus.
• Familiarity with design systems and design operations at scale is a plus.
• Exposure to agentic/MCP-based architectures is a plus.
