This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Lead a team of PKU Account Managers to meet corporate sales targets.
• Create regional and territory business strategies aligned with revenue objectives and available resources.
• Spend a significant amount of time in the field engaging with customers while mentoring and developing direct reports.
• Occasionally participate in brand team meetings to share customer insights.
• Oversee and manage cost center budgets.
• Comply with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as necessary.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in clinical data to inform strategic direction.
• At least 10+ years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• A minimum of 6+ years in biotech/specialty sales involving high-value products.
• Over 8 years of experience in field sales management across large geographies, focusing on specialty office sales (injectables).
• Proven experience in hiring, developing, and managing new teams for a key brand within the organization.
• Demonstrated capacity to think and communicate with a strategic mindset.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and contingency planning abilities.
• Established history of outstanding team sales performance.
• Significant experience in managing sales team performance.
• Confident and persuasive presenter, skilled at engaging with senior leadership.
• Willingness to travel extensively, more than 60% of the time.
