• Negotiate and re-negotiate value-based care contracts for MA & Medicaid with potential payer partners.
• Actively collaborate with payer partners to establish and/or enhance contract conditions.
• Work in conjunction with Senior Leadership to identify and source market growth and expansion opportunities for multi-year risk arrangements.
• Liaise with key internal stakeholders to guarantee a smooth and timely execution of negotiated terms.
• Analyze, draft contract language, and monitor deliverables to ensure adherence and consistency; Compile data and provide updates.
• Cultivate and sustain an in-depth understanding of current MA & Medicaid contract terms, serving as the internal authority on contract inquiries.
• Foster and manage relationships with payers and other critical stakeholders to address challenges, enhance performance, and discover new collaboration opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 12 years of experience in healthcare, collaborating with health plans or provider groups on contract negotiations within value-based care.
• Results-driven with the capability to influence outcomes to achieve objectives instead of exerting control.
• Proven ability to establish, maintain, and enhance relationships while communicating effectively with senior management.
• Exceptional attention to detail concerning contractual language and processes.
• Expertise in sales, business development, and growth at both local and national levels.
• Enthusiastic about facilitating the transition from fee-for-service to value-based care.
