Director, Patient-Centered Outcomes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Deliver strategic and scientific advice to both internal Lumanity project teams and external clients concerning projects focused on clinical outcome assessments (COAs).

• Utilize research to fulfill clients’ requirements, including offering strategic direction on COA strategy within the drug development framework.

• Evaluate project outputs such as study protocols, study reports, and client presentations to maintain high-quality standards.

• Assist in business development by nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients, generating new leads, and crafting proposals for PCO projects.

• Oversee projects as necessary, which involves creating plans that align with project scope and timelines, assigning project tasks, and leading client meetings.

• Guide, train, and mentor junior staff members.

• Present findings at scientific conferences and/or contribute to publications in peer-reviewed journals.

• Achieve an annual business development goal.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a health-related discipline is mandatory.

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience with progressively greater responsibilities in the area of patient-centered outcomes.

• In-depth understanding of the drug development process and regulatory standards related to patient-centered outcomes.

• Outstanding English verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to engage with both technical and non-technical clients (internally and externally).

• Experience in a consulting role.

• Authored publications in peer-reviewed journals and/or delivered presentations at conferences.

• Familiarity with economic evaluations and HTA submissions, including but not limited to literature reviews, gap analyses, documenting the humanistic burden of disease, utility elicitation, patient preference studies, and global value dossier development.

• Proficiency in technical skills in at least some of the following areas: expert elicitation, conjoint analysis, contingent valuation, discrete choice experiments, best-worst scaling, time trade-off, and standard gamble methods.
