This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Develop and oversee a comprehensive sales pipeline to enhance the visibility and reach of Athletes Unlimited and the AUSL within the sponsorship market.
• Actively seek, propose, and finalize new partnership sales through both existing relationships and cold outreach, contributing to Athletes Unlimited's goal of meeting or surpassing revenue targets for current leagues and new initiatives.
• Identify and create league-wide assets, programs, and packages aimed at maximizing the value proposition of Athletes Unlimited for partners and prospects.
• Formulate and execute sales and new business development strategies, personally leading initiatives to generate leads and secure deals.
• Participate in and facilitate sales meetings, assist in the development of sales materials, and collaborate with internal teams on asset management and execution.
• Stay informed about the sponsorship industry landscape, including market trends and significant activities across sports, lifestyle, and entertainment sectors.
• Keep accurate records for respective accounts in the CRM system and other sales reporting tools as necessary.
• 7-10 years of experience in sales with a strong emphasis on integrated partnership development.
• Preferred experience at the agency or property/league level specifically related to brand partnerships.
• Proven track record of generating leads and successfully closing deals with national brands and partners.
• Excellent organizational abilities, strong follow-through, and adeptness at meeting deadlines while juggling multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, remote setting.
• Superior oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
• The ideal candidate must consistently innovate to help maintain Athletes Unlimited’s status as a leading creative entity.
• A solution-oriented, highly driven, and proactive self-starter who excels both as a team member and as an individual contributor.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and to be present at league locations approximately 25% of the time.
