This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Take full ownership of the consumer SEM program from start to finish.
• Develop strategy, execution standards, and a performance roadmap for an annual SEM budget exceeding 8 figures.
• Establish goals and take responsibility for performance metrics.
• Manage campaign architecture, bidding strategies, keyword coverage, audience targeting, feeds, ad copy and creative testing, as well as landing page optimization on a daily basis.
• Implement feed-based automation, API integrations, Smart Bidding, and signal-driven strategies.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, and Lifecycle teams to enhance landing page effectiveness.
• Define and uphold the SEM measurement framework and convert performance data into actionable insights.
• Over 10 years of experience in performance/growth marketing with extensive, hands-on expertise in paid search.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
• Background in marketplace, classifieds, e-commerce, or high-volume B2C lead-generation sectors.
• A builder-operator adept at scaling operations through automation and artificial intelligence.
• Proficient in attribution, incrementality, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), and comfortable working with large datasets and querying them.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
• Preferred: Experience in a two-sided marketplace or classifieds business.
• Practical experience in building SEM automation using the Google Ads API or scripts.
