This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the inbound strategy and execution from suppliers to 3PL/DC, crafting scalable and cost-efficient transportation solutions with freight forwarders.
• Take ownership of the daily and ongoing performance of all 3PL fulfillment partners, conducting weekly and monthly business reviews and enforcing SLAs across receiving, pick/pack/ship, and returns.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for fulfillment errors, labor shortages, and shipping delays.
• Drive volume forecasting, labor staffing, carrier capacity, and contingency planning to accommodate peak periods.
• Develop and maintain the operations scorecard, providing regular performance updates to leadership.
• Collaborate with Finance on freight accrual, 3PL cost-to-serve analysis, and the performance of the operational budget.
• Uphold an SOP library, assist in the implementation of enhanced inventory management systems and tools, and lead initiatives with clear ROI in cost, speed, and accuracy.
• Build, manage, and cultivate the Operations team as it grows.
• Assist leadership in channel expansion, product launches, and onboarding new 3PL partners; collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Growth teams on launches and demand-driven volume.
• 7–10 years of experience in DTC/eCommerce operations, fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain, including senior or lead-level responsibilities.
• Demonstrated experience in managing 3PL partners and multi-node fulfillment networks at a large scale.
• Strong business acumen with the capability to collaborate effectively with Finance, Product, and Marketing teams.
• In-depth knowledge of OMS and WMS platforms; proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional operational initiatives that produced measurable improvements in cost, speed, or accuracy.
• Experience in peak-season planning (volume forecasting, labor staffing, carrier capacity) within a high-growth context.
• Preference for experience supporting cross-border (Canada/U.S.) operations.
• Valuable experience managing Customs (Duties & Tariffs) and Imports (Taxes).
• Proven capability to manage and identify efficiencies in optimizing inventory management costs while minimizing lost sales and stockouts.
• Clear understanding of supply chain KPIs and the ability to communicate them proactively.
• Annual salary range: $125,000–$175,000
