Director of User Experience, UX Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create and execute a comprehensive UX strategy that aligns with Ref's business objectives and user requirements.

• Guide and mentor a team of UX designers, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.

• Work closely with product managers and engineering leaders to outline product roadmaps and features.

• Develop and uphold design systems and guidelines to ensure uniformity across all Ref products.

• Lead user research initiatives to guide design choices and enhance product usability.

• Showcase design concepts and strategies to executive leadership and stakeholders.

• Keep abreast of UX trends and emerging technologies, integrating them into Ref's design methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in UX design, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.

• Established history of leading design teams and successfully launching products in the B2B SaaS sector.

• Strong portfolio that highlights exceptional UX design capabilities and strategic thinking.

• Proficiency in design thinking methodologies and user-centered design practices.

• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to influence cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts and their influence on user experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline; Master’s degree is preferred.
