Director of Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and direct the company’s technology roadmap alongside digital transformation projects.

• Supervise and mentor a small technology team.

• Enhance logistics workflows, operational systems, and business processes.

• Oversee integrations across TMS, CRM, operational, and customer-facing systems.

• Serve as the liaison between technology, operations, commercial teams, and leadership.

• Propel automation, AI, and data-driven improvements in operations.

• Assist in architectural, workflow, and system design decisions throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7 to 12+ years of experience in technology leadership roles within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain sectors.

• Strong leadership presence with the ability to function effectively as part of a senior leadership team.

• Proven experience in leading teams and managing technology strategy in agile, fast-paced environments.

• Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• In-depth knowledge of workflows, integrations, and systems architecture within logistics or freight forwarding contexts.

• Practical experience in enhancing or developing logistics systems and operational processes.

• Familiarity with TMS, CRM, Salesforce, customer-facing platforms, or comparable operational systems.
