Director of Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and cultivate multiple software engineering teams situated in various global locations, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.

• Spearhead the technical implementation of our SaaS product suite while synchronizing engineering priorities with business goals.

• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Architecture, and other business leaders to provide solutions that focus on customer needs.

• Advocate for engineering best practices, Agile development, DevOps methodologies, CI/CD processes, and cloud-native technologies.

• Recruit, guide, and nurture engineering leaders while facilitating career advancement throughout the organization.

• Set KPIs and OKRs to assess team performance, delivery quality, and operational excellence.

• Oversee engineering budgets, resource allocation, and organizational development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles.

• Experience in managing distributed and multicultural engineering teams.

• Strong expertise in building and deploying cloud-based SaaS applications (AWS and/or Azure).

• Proficient in Agile software development, DevOps practices, CI/CD, microservices architecture, and modern software design.

• Demonstrated ability to develop, coach, and motivate high-performing engineering teams.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing both technical and business stakeholders.

• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies or experience in regulated industries is an advantage.
