This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Manage the sales of Extreme's products, services, and solutions to Enterprise clients within the region.
• Evaluate, cultivate, and enhance individual and team capabilities to facilitate Extreme's rapid growth.
• Lead a team comprising Account Managers along with an extended group of Partner Account Managers and Systems Engineering associates.
• Create territory strategies and assign quotas for designated areas in the Southern U.S.
• Exemplify the 'Extreme Way' as a pivotal leader within the organization.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and establish a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Provide accurate forecasts for monthly, quarterly, and annual sales performance.
• Ensure the team prioritizes selling based on the value delivered to customers, as well as product features and functionality.
• Represent Extreme at customer forums and during Executive Briefing visits.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university; MBA is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in managing regional sales teams with a focus on major accounts.
• Ideal candidates will have a strong background in a networking sales environment.
• Must be capable of engaging with all levels of management and staff with ease and enthusiasm.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Possess the business acumen necessary for selling within the enterprise network sector.
• Strong presentation skills are required.
• Solid experience in State and Local Government and Education (SLED) markets.
• Ability to engage with and present solutions to an executive audience.
• Expertise in customer identification, business analysis, and research to uncover product purchase drivers.
• Capability to accurately position Extreme products and deliver a comprehensive technological narrative that addresses specific business challenges with measurable outcomes.
