This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee security monitoring, incident response, threat hunting, security analytics, vulnerability management, adversary emulation, identity security, and operational resilience.
• Define operational priorities, service objectives, metrics, playbooks, and processes aligned with organizational risk and business requirements.
• Act as incident commander for major cybersecurity incidents, ensuring that lessons learned are applied to enhance controls and operations.
• Promote the responsible integration of AI-driven detection, investigation, vulnerability analysis, threat hunting, and response capabilities.
• Guarantee effective security monitoring and response for AI applications, autonomous agents, workloads, and non-human identities.
• Utilize automation to decrease manual tasks and shorten detection, analysis, containment, and remediation timelines.
• Collaborate with Security Architecture & Engineering to ensure that controls are well-designed, implemented, operationalized, monitored, and validated.
• Cultivate security talent and provide the CISO with comprehensive reporting on incidents, exposure, operational performance, risk, and program maturity.
• Proven experience in leading Security Operations, Incident Response, Detection Engineering, Vulnerability Management, IAM, or similar cybersecurity functions.
• Substantial hands-on experience in implementing and managing security controls across cloud environments, infrastructure, applications, identity, endpoints, and networks.
• Strong technical expertise in security analytics, detection engineering, exposure management, adversary emulation, and identity security.
• Experience in managing significant cybersecurity incidents and coordinating cross-functional response efforts.
• Familiarity with implementing security automation and AI-assisted operational capabilities.
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, communication, and executive presentation abilities.
• Experience in cloud-native or extensive distributed environments, along with knowledge of contemporary cybersecurity and AI-risk frameworks, is preferred.
