This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop annual account strategies (revenue, distribution, promotional objectives) that align with growth targets.
• Accurately project volume, promotional uplift, and trade requirements.
• Establish KPIs and monitoring mechanisms to enhance execution.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships and promote new items, packaging, and innovations.
• Implement promotional calendars and in-store activations in collaboration with Marketing and Trade.
• Collaborate across functions to meet customer deadlines.
• Utilize syndicated data, retailer insights, and category trends to guide planning.
• Oversee trade budgets for return on investment; monitor deductions, promotional effectiveness, and sales.
• Handle customer P&L inputs; suggest pricing and promotional modifications to safeguard margins.
• Anticipate risks in forecasting and relationships; recommend strategies for mitigation.
• Ensure adherence to customer terms, contracts, and promotional guidelines.
• Track execution throughout the supply chain and retail environments, addressing issues promptly.
• Increase distribution, secure secondary placements, and boost incremental volume.
• Present data-driven sales narratives and category analyses; represent TRUFF at pivotal meetings and events.
• Directly oversee and mentor the Account Manager role to achieve and surpass KPIs linked to natural channel customers.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive sales experience in consumer packaged goods, preferably in the Food & Beverage sector.
• At least 3 years of effective sales-oriented people management experience.
• Proven success in managing Whole Foods and Sprouts, along with other chain and independent natural channel retailers.
• Strong comprehension of retail customer dynamics, promotional strategies, and trade spend management.
• Experience in working with and overseeing brokers, distributors, and both small and large direct retailers.
• Proficient in syndicated data tools (Nielsen, IRI, SPINS) and retailer-specific platforms.
• Experience handling customer-specific P&L and achieving ambitious revenue goals.
• Demonstrated capability to scale brands within MULO environments.
• Excellent interpersonal, listening, verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 20-30% of the time.
